While the Atom Age were up in Canada from the San Francisco Bay Area, we got the chance to shoot an Exclaim! TV session with the rockabilly-tinged punk band.
In this clip, the Atom Age perform "Kill Surf City," the title track off their 2010 album that came out prior to this year's The Hottest Thing That's Cool. The song toes the line between surf music and boisterous SoCal punk. There's a hooky saxophone solo reminiscent of '90s ska that makes you want to skateboard down the boardwalk, but isn't so overpowering as to make you whip out the old plaid shorts and chain wallet.
