Following a decade-plus disbandment, beloved Texas post-hardcore crew At the Drive-In have announced a reunion. This idea was hinted at in 2009 and then shot down, but the band appears to be back in full swing with plans for a big 2012.
While details are scarce, Alternative Press points to a new website and Twitter account launched by the band. Both sites contain a simple message: "¡ ATTENTION ! To whom it may concern: AT THE DRIVE-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence THIS STATION IS …NOW…OPERATIONAL."
That's all we know for now, but we're willing to wager that the proposed reunion will include a stop at Coachella this year, as that seems to be the preferred first stop for reunion shows these days.
