It's been over three years since Ariana Grande last shared a new album, but the pop stalwart has confirmed that her seventh studio LP is in the final stages of development, and she seems to be hinting that it will arrive in 2024.
Since Grande has been busy filming the lead role of Glenda for the upcoming Wicked big screen adaptations, she's been understandably quiet on the music front, but her latest Instagram post makes it seem as though she's been living in the studio recently.
In the final slide of the dump, she shared a video of herself crying on a couch as a cameraman asks her questions.
"Have you been working hard? Is this almost the last day of this album?" the unidentified person prods.
"I'm so tired, but so happy and grateful," she responds.
Between the cameraman's confirmation that the project is close to complete and the post being captioned "see you next year," fans are unsurprisingly expecting a new Grande album in 2024.
Although she recently shared an anniversary edition of her 2013 debut project Yours Truly, her most recent original releases since 2020's Positions include one-off contributions to singles with the Weeknd and Kelly Clarkson.
Check out her teaser post below as we await the album's arrival.
