After some teasing, Arab Strap are officially back. The beloved Scottish duo of Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton have shared the new track "The Turning of Our Bones," marking their first proper track since 2005's The Last Romance.

"'The Turning of Our Bones' is an incantation, a voodoo spell to raise the dead," Moffat said in a statement. "Inspired by the Famadihana ritual of the Malagasy people of Madagascar, in which they dance with the corpses of loved ones; it's all about resurrection and shagging."

Down below, you can check out the track via a seriously macabre music video.

"The Turning of Our Bones" will arrive alongside another new track called "The Jump" as a physical release on October 23.

Since calling it quits, Arab Strap have only reunited a few times for live shows, the last of which happened at Iceland Airwaves back in November 2017.
