Anna Meredith Readies New Album 'FIBS'

The single-take video for "Paramour" features a whole lot of Lego

After making her debut in with Varmints in 2016, Anna Meredith has shared details of her sophomore follow-up. The composer and producer will release new album FIBS on October 25 through Moshi Moshi.

Eleven tracks in length, FIBS is said to showcase "an overhauled and updated version of the composer's soundworld," a result of a writing process "more intense than she's ever known" and the incorporation of both electronic and acoustic instruments.

Meredith has also shared a video for first single "Paramour," which you can watch below. Directed by Ewan Jones Morris, the single-take clip captures a playthrough of the song through a camera rigged up to 1,200 pieces of Lego train track.
