Fresh off releasing surprise album Bumps Per Minute: 18 Studies for Dodgems last week, Anna Meredith has announced plans to tour North America in the spring of 2022.
Next March and April, the Scottish composer and producer will play 11 dates on the continent, three of which come in Canada.
Meredith will first play Vancouver's Fox Cabaret on March 23, ahead of back-to-back stops at Toronto's Longboat Hall and Montreal's L'Astral on March 27 and and 28, respectively.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday (July 23) at 9 a.m. local time, and you can find the tour itinerary below.
Bumps Per Minute: 18 Studies for Dodgems soundtracks new installation DODGE at Somerset House in London, UK, the location of Meredith's studio.
DODGE sees Meredith and collaborator Nick Ryan affix a tracking system to a fleet of bumper cars, allowing riders to trigger a separate composition with every thump, bump and swerve of the 18 cars.
The effort follows Meredith's 2019 LP FIBS, which was nominated for the 2020 Mercury Prize.
