If there's one thing we know about the fun-loving Andrew W.K., it's that the dude loves to party. Well, he's now penned yet another party anthem. It's called "Go Go Go" and it's the official theme song of the 2012 World Snowboarding Championship in Oslo, Norway.
The song includes some lyrical shoutouts to championship snowboarders, and some of these athletes appear in the video too. Andrew told Spinner, "I was wondering if these snowboarders would party hard. And they did! Everyone was so nice, and super awesome to work with. It meant a lot to me that so many talented athletes from around the world would come together to be part of this song -- and part of this party!"
The video is a fast-moving affair that mixes sports footage with clips of Andrew and a variety of other folks holding up flashcards with the lyrics. It's an assault on the senses that's a fitting accompaniment for the bombastic, hard-hitting rocker.
Andrew has some British Columbia tour dates coming up this week. See the schedule here.
