Multi-instrumentalist, whistler and all-round folk maestro Andrew Bird has revealed the first cut from his upcoming album, Break It Yourself.
Recorded at Bird's barn in Western Illinois, "Eyeoneye" is a jaunty, guitar-driven number that offers a promising teaser for what's to come in the follow-up to 2009's acclaimed gem, Noble Beast. Take a listen below.
Break It Yourself hits shelves on March 6 via Mom + Pop. Starting tomorrow (January 24), a limited-edition deluxe version of the album including a DVD, lyric booklet, poster and "stamp and stationary set," will be available for pre-order from Bird's official site.
