Canadian singer-songwriter Andrea Ramolo paid tribute to the late Leonard Cohen last year with an album called Homage, and to mark the third anniversary of his death, she's treated her rendition of "Suzanne" from that album to a music video.
Her recent rendition of the song hears Ramolo imagining herself as the title character Suzanne. The accompanying video was directed by Jessica Hinkson, and it follows Ramolo through fields of lavender and breezy beaches.
"It reads very soft and delicate in comparison to many of my past visual and artistic approaches," Ramolo said in a statement. "I loved exploring this side of my womanhood and living in this world of beautifully lit nostalgia that she and her team created. It's playful and pays homage to the real Suzanne as woman, dancer, and muse."

Ramolo will also mark the anniversary of Cohen's death with a video screening and live performance at the Annex Cafe and Wine Bar in Toronto on November 7.
