Slowly but surely, AlunaGeorge are working on their full-length follow-up to 2013's Body Music. A due date for the project has yet to be locked down, but the UK dance-pop duo have unveiled a slow and silky single called "My Blood."
The track was premiered today (April 27) through Zane Lowe's Beats 1 program, with vocalist Aluna Francis explaining how she tracked down vocalist ZHU to add a bit of extra flavour to the track. As it stands, the piece melds Francis's piped sensuality with pitch-shifted vocals, snickety triplet hi-hat hits, black velvet synth sounds and more.
While the track follows recent cuts like the Popcaan-featuring "I'm in Control," Francis reports that the outfit are still sorting out what will be on the next LP.
