Brit duo AlunaGeorge have finally announced a July 1 due date for their debut LP Body Music, and the pair are teasing the set several months early with a stream of their new single "Attracting Flies."
The bubbly tune flits electro-pan flute harmonies around singer Aluna Francis' infectious coo, which zones in on some off-the-rails relationship troubles. "Who needs the drama?" she questions of an amour who offers her nothing but fairy tales and little white lies.
The rest of the track is filled with awe-inducing production flourishes, from early '90s synth tones and booming bass beats, to percussive chimes and the slightest hint of echo-laden spy guitar runs.
"Attracting Flies" arrives as a single on March 10 and will be packaged with remixes from "Harlem Shake" producer Baauer, S-Type and more.
