All Systems Go!

This sophomore disc from the mighty ASG features a new songwriting influence in the form of bassist Thom D'Arcy (recruited from the Carnations to replace Frank Daly). He and John Kastner equally trade off writing and vocal duties on this 12-track effort but other than the obvious differences in voices, there's no disruption in the flow of the driving music that is the hallmark of the disc. Big n' nasty melodic rock/garage punk songs featuring beefy guitars pounding backbeats and crisp, punchy production (courtesy of Daniel Rey) make this a worthy follow-up to their debut.
