Taking their cues from fellow left coasters No Knife and Drive Like Jehu, this Vancouver-based quartet indulges in a gleefully demented brand of angular post-punk rock on their debut. The six songs on this EP are equal parts jangly guitar pop and dissonant Sonic Youth-inspired rock, most notably on "Night and Day," which bounces back and forth between odd-metered, Fugazi-like half-time breakdowns and subtle, intricate noodling.
