Alison Krauss and Union Station (featuring Jerry Douglas) have announced a sprawling North American tour — their first in a decade — for 2025, as well as plans to work on their first new music together since 2011's Paper Airplane. They're expected to venture to Canada for concerts in Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Toronto next summer.
"I'm so grateful to get to make music again with my comrades of 40 years," Krauss shared. "They've always accomplished incredible work individually and have been constantly travelling because of it. We're very inspired to experience this new exciting chapter in the band's history."
With support from Willie Watson (save for the first handful of shows), the Arcadia Tour gets underway starting with a two-night stand in Louisville, KY, on April 17 and 18. From there, the all-star band — featuring Douglas, Russell Moore, Ron Block and Barry Bales — will traverse predominantly US territory up until their arrival in Canada at the end of July for shows in Calgary (July 29) and Saskatoon (July 31). They'll kick off August while still on Canadian soil, with subsequent shows at Winnipeg's Centennial Concert Hall and Toronto's Massey Hall on August 1 and 19, respectively.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (December 6), with presales starting tomorrow (December 4) at 10 a.m. local. Find the full itinerary below.
