Following the release Alex Calder's Captured Tracks debut Time this past Tuesday (March 26), the Montreal-via-Edmonton indie pop artist has delivered a celebratory clip for the EP's "Fatal Delay."
While the lyrics are a bit of a downer, with the song's protagonist resigning to the fact that he's about to die, the vid captures Calder enjoying life while he can. Atop a Deerhunter-style setup of lightly poppin' bass riffs and sparkle-shine six-strings, the singer-songwriter makes his way around a soundstage, testing the elasticity of his freckled face with a series of goofy faces.
