There's still a couple of months left before Akron/Family drop their next LP, Sub Verses, on April 30 through Dead Oceans, but the band have let loose a sneak preview via new number "Until the Morning."
The experimental folk number features some simmering synth ripples and textured guitar tones, and has the full band letting into some soothing whoa-whoas all throughout the cut. Lyrically, the track seeks redemption, as the narrator asks if he can come inside so they can talk "until the morning."
You can sample the sweet little number down below.
As previously reported, Akron/Family head out in support of Sub Verses this spring, with Canadian shows lined up in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. You can eyeball the tour itinerary here.
