Air to Score Short Film for Cartier

French electronic music has had a busy year with high-profile new albums from the likes of Justice and M83, but synth-y forefathers Air have been nowhere to be found. Fortunately, the duo have reportedly prepared some new music in the form of a brief film score.

Stereogum points to a story from, er, Women's Wear Daily, who report that Air made a score for the four-and-a-half-minute short film that Waverly Films made to advertise French jewelry brand Cartier.

The film is set to debut on November 9 at the Cartier Facebook page. In the meantime, you can just keep watching the M83/Victoria's Secret commercial. French electro dudes are in it for the women's wear.
