Vancouver's 604 Records has long been known for its mainstream rock success, but the label is now aiming to break into new ground with the indie-oriented spinoff Light Organ Records. Among the up-and-coming artists signed to the label is Adrian Glynn, a Vancouver-based singer-songwriter, who recently released the video for "A Lesson to the Rest of You."
Below, you can see the video for his folksy protest song. As the press release points out, the lyrics are a satirical critique on Western exploitation of the Middle East, and the music video shows a lavish pool party, culminating in the revelers drinking oil out of wine glasses.
