AC/DC Hit Canada on North American Tour

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 11, 2015

Following the release of last year's Rock or Bust and a performance at this past weekend's Grammy Awards, legendary rock'n'rollers AC/DC have announced plans to embark on an extensive North American tour.

The band are scheduled to headline Coachella in Indio, CA, on April 10 and 17, and will then head overseas for a string of European shows. They'll land back on North American soil in August, kicking off the tour in Foxborough, MA, on August 22.

The band will hit a number of Canadian cities, including Quebec City (August 28), Montreal (August 31), Ottawa (September 3), Moncton (September 8), Toronto (September 10), Edmonton (September 20) and Vancouver (September 22). The whole tour wraps up on September 28 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Appearing on stage will be singer Brian Johnson, Angus Young and Cliff Williams, with Stevie Young replacing his uncle Malcolm Young (due to ongoing health problems) and Chris Slade filling in for legally embattled drummer Phil Rudd.
