Folk songstress Leah Abramson and her band the Abramson Singers have been touring across Canada promoting their album Late Riser, and we were able to record one of their new songs when the band was in Toronto.
Abramson and guitarist Patrick Metzger performed a version of "Marguerite" featuring only Abramson's voice accompanied by guitar, eschewing the lush instrumentation of the album version for raw emotion, accentuating the bilingual lyrics.
Watch the performance below. The Abramson Singers will be performing in Alberta and British Columbia in August.
