This collection of early '80s tunes is made up of demos and B-sides. The marketing hook they use in the liner notes is how 999 was blamed by the media for bringing slam dancing to California in 1980. There's also something about how London's scandal sheet The Sun tried to coax the band into attacking a passer-by in an outdoor interview, which they declined to do. There are 19 songs in all, but many of them suffer from the poor sound quality that often goes along with demos. This is also more post-punk, since some of the material wound up on their later records, "Concrete" and "Biggest Prize In Sport." This is more for fans of the band than the casual listener.
