The second live album from one of the most endearing and enduring West Coast (sort of) hardcore bands of all time is like a machine blast of punk power. Recorded this past April, Scream Real Loud shows the Nevada band back on top of its game as they tear through 26 tracks that span their career with the emphasis on their landmark The Crew record and the most recent Good to Go. Thrown in for good measure are a couple of tracks from Walk Together, Rock Together and Soulforce Revolution. Noticeably absent is material from the mellower Ourselves record and the result of their one failed experiment with a major label. But it's probably for the best since this record is about rediscovering their hardcore roots and some of that stuff just wouldn't have fit with the set. This record is so powerful that it's arguably stronger than their 1987 One Plus One live album.
