32 Leaves

32 Leaves’ new album Welcome to the Fall is pretty much heavy muzak; you barely notice it when it’s there, it sounds familiar and its generally quite inoffensive. From the Maynard-esque proud, booming vocals to the generically aggressive guitars, 32 Leaves are pretty unremarkable. Bordering on nu-metal town, 32 Leaves have taken their lessons in intensity from the guidebooks of Disturbed or Staind. If it were up to me, I’d take the elevator music over this.
