Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz's collaborative Collegrove release is due to drop tomorrow (March 4), but we're getting some previews ahead of time. Before 2 Chainz plugs the project through Beats 1 tonight, he's unveiled the scat-tastic banger, "Gotta Lotta."
Premiered through Zane Lowe's own Beats 1 program, the track starts off with some mellow high synth work. Weezy offers up a bit of zippy, melodic scatting. 2 Chainz plays clean up on the track, rolling out lines about people that smell like a fresh cup of syrup, and being in possession of enough cash to fill a football field.
You can hear the cut below, while 2 Chainz is also expected to play some Collegrove material on a special Beats 1 broadcast of "Collegrove Radio," which airs at 10 p.m. EST. The show is also expected to feature DJ Drama, Manny Fresh, DJ Self, and DJ E.Sudd.
