The second season of Ilene Chaiken's The L Word: Generation Q is heading to Showtime this summer, and today, you can get a sneak peek at the forthcoming instalment with a brand new trailer.
Second 2 will follow the "intermingled lives of Bette, Shane McCutcheon, Alice Pieszecki, Dani Nùñez, Micah Lee, Sarah Finley, Sophie Suarez, Gigi Ghorbani and Angelica Porter-Kennard, as they experience love, heartbreak, setbacks and success in L.A."
The series finds stars of the first generation of The L Word — Jennifer Beals, Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey — joining the next generation played by Arienne Mandi, Sepidah Moafi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, Rosanny Zayas and Jordan Hull 10 years after the events of the original series.
The second season of Gen Q will begin streaming on-demand on August 6, while the Showtime television premiere is scheduled for August 8 at 10 p.m. ET.
