It's been eight long years since we thought we said goodbye to Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story gang in the heart-wrenching Toy Story 3. Then, a proposed sequel was set to drop last year before having its date moved multiple times. Now, a proper release date is finally among us.
The film will see the whole gang come back together. While plot details are unclear, it will be directed by Josh Cooley and Coco helmer Jonas Rivera, based on a screenplay from Stephany Folsom.
Cooley announced the film's release date on his Twitter, thus making it official — Toy Story 4 will arrive on June 21, 2019.
