It's time to get Channing Tatum email-level excited, because the Men in Black/21 Jump Street crossover is definitely, 100 percent happening.
During CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Sony confirmed the news that first surfaced in the great Sony email hack of 2014 — the third 21 Jump Street movie will be a crossover with Men in Black.
The film is simply called MIB 23 — a screenshot of its new logo is available above. The film will see former Jump Street directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller sitting as producers. In the director's chair this time around will be James Bobin.
Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will return in their roles as Jenko and Schmidt, respectively, but it looks like we won't be seeing Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones reprising their Men in Black roles.
Only time will tell whether MIB 23 is an audacious payoff or if it winds up being an experience we want to erase from our memories with a neuralyzer.
