'The Handmaid's Tale' Was Just Renewed for Season 4

Hulu's hit dystopian series The Handmaid's Tale has been renewed for Season 4.

The show, which has inspired a number of real-life gatherings both good and bad, will return with another batch of episodes, the streaming service confirmed. The release date has not yet been confirmed.

The Handmaid's Tale won 11 Emmys for its first two seasons. Season 3, which is coming to an end, has been nominated for an additional 11 Emmys.

Expanding on Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name, the show stars Elisabeth Moss as June. Other characters include Serena (Yvonne Strahovski), Nick (Max Minghella), Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes), Moira (Samira Wiley), Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd), Luke (O.T. Fagbenle) and Emily (Alexis Bledel), as well as Commander Joseph Lawrence (Bradley Whitford).
