Stephen King's Doctor Sleep was as satisfying of a sequel to The Shining as we could ever expect. Now, the book is being transformed into a film.
Since Stanley Kubrick is no longer around, the sequel is being helmed by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House). It stars Ewan McGregor as an adult version of Danny from The Shining.
The first teaser for the film is packed with references to Kubrick's original, including plenty of "Redrum."
