​'Star Wars' Actor Andrew Jack Dies from Coronavirus

He was also a dialect coach for franchises like 'Lord of the Rings,' 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'The Avengers'

Star Wars actor Andrew Jack has died after contracting COVID-19. He was 76.
 
He passed away on Tuesday (March 31) in Surrey, U.K., due to the coronavirus.
 
Jack appeared in the Star Wars universe as Major Ematt, featuring in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Star Wars Episode: VIII – The Last Jedi. Additionally, he provided the voice of Moloch in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
 
Jack also worked as a vocal coach on massive movie franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings and The Avengers, and was currently coaching on the new Batman film.
 
Jack is survived by his wife, Gabrielle Rogers, who also works as a dialect coach.
