Spike Lee Is Being Immortalized as a Funko Pop

From Schitt's Creek to Slipknot, the Funko corporation will not rest until all of popular culture has been moulded into a cutesy figurine to be purchased by nerds who love to line up for things. Up next, beloved cinema hero Spike Lee.

Lee's Funko will specifically reference the purple suit and knuckle rings that the director wore to the 2019 Oscars, where he took home some accolades for BlacKkKlansman.

"Creating a line of Pop! Directors is a wonderful way to show our appreciation and celebrate the brilliant minds behind the properties we all love," said Funko's senior manager of brand and licensing Lauren Winarski said to The Hollywood Reporter. "When you look at the impact of Spike Lee's films like Do the Right Thing and his status in pop culture, we are more than thrilled to have him join the collection."

And if the thought of a Spike Lee Funko Pop is a major turn off for you, don't worry — he's also working on a project about Viagra.
