Award season is about to get into full swing, and the first major ceremony of 2019 is the Golden Globes.
The honours for achievement in film and TV are being presented tonight in Los Angeles, during a broadcast hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh.
Heading into the evening, the most nominated film was Adam McKay's Dick Cheney biopic Vice with six nods, while The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story topped the TV nominations with four.
Presenters throughout the evening will include Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Idris Elba, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Ben Stiller, Chrissy Metz, Felicity Huffman and Mike Myers.
As previously announced, this evening's ceremony also marks the inaugural awarding of the Carol Burnett Award for lifetime achievement in television. Fittingly, it's being given to its namesake actor this year.
