Though it's not an official International Women's Day celebration, it's somewhat fitting that today would mark the launch of Rough Night. After all, women should be given as many opportunities to make raunchy hard-R comedies as men.
The film was directed by Lucia Aniello, who wrote it alongside her Broad City collaborator Paul W. Downs. The film, which was initially titled Move That Body, stars Scarlett Johannson alongside Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer and Zoë Kravitz.
The five women play a set of friends who head out on a stagette weekend. After doing a shit-ton of cocaine, they wind up killing a male stripper.
Based on the trailer, this will be one hell of a fun movie. Watch it below [via Buzzfeed] and look for Rough Night to arrive on June 16.
