Former Bond girl and That '70s Show actress Tanya Roberts passed away yesterday (January 3). She was 65 years old.

As TMZ reports, Roberts was hospitalized on December 24 after coming back from walking her dogs and collapsed in her Los Angeles home. While she was put on a ventilator, her passing was reportedly not related to COVID-19 complications. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Despite her rep sending out a press release about Roberts' passing, that same rep now says the actress is still alive in hospital. This update also comes after her partner Lance O'Brien was even quoted as saying Roberts had died, telling TMZ: "As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes." Stay tuned for updates as they become available.

UPDATE (1/5, 11:10 p.m. ET): Following the premature announcement of Roberts' death, TMZ now reports that Roberts has indeed passed away. Her partner Lance O'Brien reportedly got a call from a doctor confirming the news at 9 p.m. PT yesterday.

Born Victoria Leigh Blum in 1955, Roberts was raised in the Bronx before moving to Mississauga, ON, where she began her modelling career. Roberts' acting career took off after she relocated to Hollywood and was selected to replace Shelley Hack in Charlie's Angels. In 1985, Roberts landed her role as Stacey Sutton alongside Roger Moore's Bond in A View to Kill.

Roberts accumulated numerous television and film credits in her decades-long career, which culminated in her 1998 casting as Donna's mom, Midge Pinciotti, on That '70s Show. Roberts appeared in 51 episodes before the show went off the air in 2004. Roberts' career slowed significantly afterward.

Shortly after That '70s Show ended, Roberts' husband Barry Roberts passed away. The couple did not have any children.

Roberts is survived by long-time partner Lance O'Brien and her sister Barbara Chase.
