If you used to come home from school and watch shows like 6Teen, Johnny Test and Total Drama Island as a kid, an era of your life is about to end: Canadian cartoon channel Teletoon is being rebranded by Corus Entertainment.

Starting on March 27, Teletoon will become the Canadian division of Cartoon Network. The current iteration of Cartoon Network in Canada will be rebranded to Boomerang, another pre-existing US channel.

"After more than 25 years of delighting fans with hilarious hijinks and gut-busting antics, Teletoon is revamped as Cartoon Network," a statement on the Corus website reads. "Cartoon Network will deliver flagship shows like Total DramaRama and classic TELETOON programming."

Launched in 1997, Teletoon has been home to many Cartoon Network shows for years while airing kids' classics like Angela Anaconda and Canadian production Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. The channel also had different nighttime programming blocks for adult animation over its history, playing 18-plus shows to attract adult audiences.

While Teletoon will be phased out on cable TV, its streaming platform Teletoon+ will remain intact. Despite the channel's rebranding, the 6Teen theme song will forever live in our heads rent-free. Life begins after rebrand?
