In addition to their insatiable need to rub out some tears, viewers of Nick Cassavetes' emotional 2004 cry porn flick The Notebook also apparently have some serious blood lust. After all, Netflix accidentally shared a version where Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams don't die at the end, and everyone's pissed.

Apparently, a version of the film that aired on Netflix in the U.K. had its final scene cut, meaning that the elderly couple don't die at the end. Instead, they apparently watch a bird fly over a body of water before the film fades to black.

That sounds really nice, to be quite honest, but these death-hungry Notebook fans are fuming
Netflix quickly replied, swearing that it didn't mean to so rudely save the lives of two fictional characters with a shoddy edit. Instead, Netflix claims that it was given a different copy of the film.
