Mother's Day

Trailer

Welp, it looks like Garry Marshall is going to spend the rest of his life turning Hallmark holidays into schmaltzy rom-coms. After New Year's Day and Valentine's Day, he's back with one for all the mamas out there.

Mother's Day boasts an US Weekly cast that includes Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis. All of these celebs play love-sick white people with varying problems, all of which culminate in the celebration of Mother's Day.

Along the way, there's plenty of inspirational music and aggressively tame "humour," not to mention some glittery gold title cards that sort of look like Piss Christ.

If you want to feel like you're being gently suffocated, watch the trailer for Mother's Day below. The film opens on April 29.

We can only assume that Marshall has begun pre-production on Arbor Day with Katherine Heigl and Anne Hathaway.
