The wait for Clerks III is almost over. After years of teasing scripts, famous score contributors and more, filmmaker Kevin Smith's revival of his decades-old Clerks franchise is previewed today by its official trailer — which is naturally soundtracked by the dulcet tones of Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy," because the '90s.

Out sometime this fall, the meta-comedy picks up with Randal (Jeff Anderson) suffering a heart attack and reconsidering his life's path in the face of his own mortality. He begins writing a movie about his life as a clerk, auditioning actors from Sarah Michelle Gellar to Ben Affleck and Fred Armisen for the cast.

Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Smith) are back, of course, as are Brian O'Halloran and Rosario Dawson. Additional appearances include Justin Long and Michelle Buteau.
