If Owen Wilson's storied career could be reduced to a single word, it would undoubtedly be "wow." The man famously has a love of using the three-letter palindrome at every opportunity, and now a series of fans have paid tribute by saying "wow" themselves.
The event was organized in Melbourne, Australia by the Owen Wilson Wowposting Facebook group and took place on Monday (February 26).
Leading up to the wow-worthy event, organizer (and Wowposting admin) Nicolas Zoumboulis spoke with the Independent about the event.
"Ultimately I just really want to put some 'positive energy', as Owen likes to say, out into the world. In these times I think something as silly as getting together and saying 'Wow' can have a positive effect and I'd like to see everyone come together!" he said. "If I can remind people that this world we are lucky to inhabit is beautiful, and to embrace that like Owen does in his movies by saying 'Wow,' then I'll be happy."
From the looks of it, the event was certainly a success. Watch footage of Wilson's fans saying "wow" together below, followed by a supercut of the man himself saying, you guessed it, the word "wow."
