It feels like it's been years, but it was actually only a month ago that we told you about all of the stuff Netflix Canada was set to offer during April under quarantine. Of course, not much has changed — we're still being told to stay home as much as physically possible. Fortunately, the streaming service has risen to the occasion with a ridiculously deep platter of offerings in May.
There's truly an overwhelming amount of content set for us to cram into our eyeballs, so much so that it's tough to pick the highlights. That said, the month includes the arrival of the long-awaited Steve Carell comedy Space Force (May 29), an interactive special that concludes The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (May 12) and season 2 of Dead to Me (May 8).
As if that weren't enough, the month will apparently see the premiere of the long-awaited television adaptation of Snowpiercer. Although a date for the show's release has not been set for Netflix, it is scheduled to premiere via TNT on May 17.
That's barely scratching the surface — we can also expect new comedy specials from Hannah Gadsby, Jerry Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt, as well as a smattering of both original and pre-released films.
Of course, with the good comes a tiny bit of bad news. You've only got until May 4 to watch The House Bunny, May 5 to watch Erin Brockovich and May 31 to watch Center Stage. Oh, and if you need to watch all six seasons of Drop Dead Diva you better do so before the show leaves on May 23.
