Whether you're rolling solo or having a "chill" sesh with your sweetie on Valentine's Day, chances are you're most likely going to have an unholy amount of content constantly streaming in the background. Fortunately, this February's ambient background content from our cultural overlords at Netflix appears to be a good crop.
The most anticipated new title is certainly To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, the sequel to the streaming service's surprise hit rom-com. That will arrive on February 12.
There's also the arrival of Horse Girl, a new quirky comedy starring Alison Brie and directed by Little Hours helmer Jeff Baena. That one will land on February 7.
As for TV, there's plenty to anticipate. Not least of which is Altered Carbon: Season 2, which will pop up on February 27.
Of course, while we're excited for all of the shiny new content hitting Netflix we must also have a moment of silence for the brave media properties that gave their lives to make room for new material. As such, you've only got until February 1 to binge The Mindy Project in its entirety. Mean Girls is living up to its name and leaving on Valentine's Day, while every season of Bates Motel will shutter on February 19. Blade Runner 2049 will leave on February 25, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy will peace out on February 28. R.I.P. to the content.
