Hollywood Suite has announced an exciting new batch of programming heading to its four channels and on-demand service in June. With new series and movies that defined the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s, the Canadian entertainment network is always uncut and free of commercial interruption.
In celebration of Pride Month, the network's June lineup will feature an extensive collection of LGBTQIA+ stories for Hollywood Suite's Queer Cinema Collection. One of June's many highlights is Equal, a four-part HBO Max Original docuseries narrated by Pose's Billy Porter.
Paying tribute to the founders of the LBGTQIA+ rights movement, Equal consists of archival footage and scripted reenactments of the historical quest for queer liberation. With appearances by OITNB's Samira Wiley, Sense8's Jamie Clayton, Stranger Things' Shannon Purser, Heather Matarazzo, Anthony Rapp and more, the series premieres on June 7 at 9 p.m. ET, with new episodes airing each Monday. Episodes will be available to watch on-demand at Hollywood Suite following their release.
In addition to the premiere of Equal, June's Queer Cinema Collection will also feature The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Paris Is Burning, Moonlight, Call Me By Your Name, Brokeback Mountain and many more.
Also heading to Hollywood Suite in June is the network's star-studded Box Office Bonanza! Collection, which will see No. 1 movies airing every night for the entire month. Highlights from the collection include the Spider-Man films, Men in Black, Ghost, the original West Side Story, Grease, Space Jam, Saving Private Ryan and dozens more.
