Here's Our First Look at the 'Game of Thrones' Prequel 'House of the Dragon'

While the wait for more Game of Thrones content feels endless, HBO is finally throwing us a bone. Today, the network has shared the first official images to arrive from the George R.R. Martin prequel series House of the Dragon.

Down below, you can get a glimpse of the insanely anticipated series, with the photos showing off series stars Emma D'Arcy, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans and Steve Toussaint.

As previously reported, House of the Dragon is set to arrive in 2022. It is being co-created by Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik and also stars Paddy Considine, Fabien Frankel, Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno.

House of the Dragon is being based on Martin's 2018 prequel book Fire and Blood, a companion piece to his beloved A Song of Ice and Fire series. The story takes place 300 years before the main GoT storyline, and the resulting TV series will be made up of 10 episodes.
