As work slows down for many people (and gets much busier for some), the holiday season offers plenty of opportunities to spend even more time than usual in front of the TV — particularly when trying to escape relatives at any awkward family get-togethers in the coming weeks. If that describes you, Disney+ Canada is here with a new slate of content arriving in December 2022.
It's a slightly slow month for the streamer, with no content at all from its Star Wars, Marvel or Pixar divisions. That being said, Disney will bring some Christmas content to the platform, including a Pentatonix special and new episodes of the new The Santa Clause spinoff series.
December will bring new episodes of previously premiered dramas Welcome to Chippendales and Fleishman Is in Trouble, but this month's most prominent releases are things that have already come out on TV or in cinemas: the latest seasons of Atlanta and What We Do in the Shadows will arrive in full, as will Martin McDonagh's acclaimed drama The Banshees of Inisherin and disgraced director David O. Russell's star-studded recent flop Amsterdam.
