It already feels like spring, but for those still savouring that winter coziness, Prime Video has a whole slate of exciting shows and movies to keep you occupied.
Leading the charge this March is Doug Liman’s Roadhouse remake, starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Elwood Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter trying to escape his dark past and his penchant for violence. You can stream Liman’s version starting March 21, but why not also whet your palate with Rowdy Herrington’s 1989 original starring Patrick Swayze, which hits Prime Video on March 1?
If you’re looking for something a little lighter you can check out the comedy-horror Five Nights at Freddy’s on March 4, or Peter Farrelly’s Ricky Stanicky on March 7, which stars Zac Efron, John Cena and Andrew Santino.
If it’s Academy fare that you’re looking for, Best Picture nominees American Fiction and Anatomy of a Fall hit the streamer on March 8.
March 14 sees the return of beloved animated superhero series Invincible, starring J.K. Simmons, Steven Yeun and Sandra Oh, while Marlowe – the gripping 1930s crime thriller starring Liam Neeson as a down-on-his-luck detective — arrives on March 29.
For a good binge-watch, look no further than the Prime Video Channels, where you can catch Big Brother Canada on STACKTV, Canada’s Got Talent Season 3 on Citytv+, The Long Shadow on AMC+, Expendables on STARZ and so much more.
Beginning in the month of March, Prime Video will also be supporting the Canadian Women’s Foundation as part of its Canadian-created initiative Watch to Give Back. All proceeds from Watch to Give Back title rentals and purchases will be donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation from March 1 to May 29. Titles include A League of Their Own, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, 2019’s Little Women, 9 to 5 and many more.
