If you've been itching for a Degrassi reunion, you're about to get one. This summer, a big class reunion will take place at an event dubbed "Degrassi Palooza" in Toronto.
The three-day event is being organized by Pat Mastroianni, who played Joey Jeremiah on the classic first run of Degrassi, the Canadian Press reports. Mastroianni is apparently putting up his own cash to hold the event, which will take place at the Westin Toronto Airport Hotel from June 14 to 16.
According to Mastroianni, fellow Degrassi graduates Kirsten Bourne, Stacie Mistysyn, Amanda Stepto and Stefan Brogren are among his co-stars from the show's initial '80s/'90s run who are set to attend "Degrassi Palooza." In total, the event promises the appearance of more than 20 original cast members.
However, as CP reports, cast members from later iterations of the series will not be featured at the event. So don't expect Next Generation star Drake to make any sort of appearance.
"I think this is the perfect time in everyone's life to have a gathering like this," Mastroianni said in a statement. "This is the going to be the ultimate OG Degrassi event ever. 'Trust me.'"
Tickets for the event recently went on sale, and you can pick them up over here, where you can also learn more about the event.
