The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced the nominees for the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards, which celebrates our country's best film and television from the past year. The winners will be announced between April 4 to 10, leading up to the Canadian Screen Awards ceremony on April 10.
In the world of film, Scarborough and Night Raiders lead the way with 11 nominations each. Close behind, All My Puny Sorrows has eight, while Wildhood and Drunken Birds each have six.
On the television side of things, Sort Of tops the list with 13 nominations. Pretty Hard Cases and Wynonna Earp each have 11, while Coroner and Kim's Convenience each earned 10.
There are also digital media awards, with 21 Black Futures and For the Record leading with eight nominations each.
