Bill Nye already attempted to save the world with his Netflix series Bill Nye Saves the World, but he may not have done a good enough job. After all, he's just signed on for a new show called The End Is Nye.
The punnily titled series will see Nye working with the NBC streaming series Peacock. In the show, he'll visit "the most epic global disasters imaginable — both natural and unnatural." Nye then uses science to show how we can survive, mitigate and even prevent the disasters.
The End Is Nye will be directed by Brannon Braga (Star Trek, Cosmos: Possible Worlds) who will also serve as showrunner and executive producer. The show is also being produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins for Fuzzy Door.
Between saving the world and ending it, Bill Nye has more recently been active as a TikTok user.
