On the heels of his breakout role in awards season favourite BEEF, Young Mazino has nabbed a supporting role in the second season of The Last of Us.
The Maryland-born actor is set to play Jesse — a friend of Bella Ramsey's lead character, Ellie — who's playable as a supporting character in The Last of Us Part II video game.
Mazino's casting comes just a day after Dopesick and Booksmart star Kaitlyn Dever was announced to be playing the second game's co-lead, Abby.
According to Variety, production on the show's second season is due to return to Alberta in February, and the premiere is slated for 2025.
