Over the past few months, we've been incrementally updating our massive list of all of the releases that will be coming our way on Record Store Day (April 18). Now, the floodgates have opened, and the full list of exclusive releases has been announced.
The list is absolutely enormous — as we knew it would be — and includes notable previously announced releases like the White Stripes' vinyl pressing of Get Behind Me Satan, the Flaming Lips' archival 10-inches, Metallica's demo tape, Neko Case's Fox Confessor reissue, Slayer's new single, Violent Femmes' new EP, a reissue from Thermals predecessors Hutch and Kathy, Of Montreal's live album Snare Lustrous Doomings, Sloan's Alternates EP, Tegan and Sara's Live at Zia Records, a fancy colour variant of Built to Spill's new album and more.
These are now joined by freshly announced records including Oneohtrix Point Never's Commissions II (inspired by Japanese videogames), Father John Misty's heart-shaped "I Loved You, Honeybee" single, KMD's reissue of Bl_ck B_st_rds with a children's pop-up book, Johnny Marr's Depeche Mode cover (which we heard this morning), Mclusky's first-ever vinyl pressing of the best-of comp Mcluskyism, the first vinyl edition of the Stooges' Have Some Fun: Live at Ungano's, a J Dilla single shaped like a police badge, Nick Thorburn's Serial soundtrack, a Vampire Weekend 12-inch (with a remix featuring Heems and Danny Brown), a splatter-coloured reissue of Grizzly Bear's Horn of Plenty, U2's deluxe edition of Songs of Innocence, a reissue of Mark Kozelek's AC/DC covers album What's Next to the Moon? and much more.

While this comprises all of the official Record Store Day releases, there are plenty more slabs of wax that will also be coming out on April 18. This include records like Tough Age's cub covers and Third Man's Elvis reissue, which are being released for Record Store Day but have no "official" tie to the event.
The list was unveiled at a press conference at Rough Trade's Brooklyn shop today (March 10). As always, these records will exclusively be available at participating indie shops, and different regions like Canada and the UK often have different exclusives up for grabs. It's possible that the list may change a bit over the next few weeks, but this is more or less final.
